Bacon jalapeno poppers have to be one of the easiest, but most loved party foods in existence. The combination of spicy, salty and cheesy flavors is out of this world!
This appetizer is nothing new, but I just LOVE these little guys!

There’s really no need for a recipe for these poppers because they’re so simple to make. However, since I’m in the business of sharing recipes, this is for you! (Printable recipe below.)
If you happen to have a plethora of jalapeños, here’s a recipe for jalapeño shallot guacamole from my friend, Cynthia, from What a Girl Eats.
Bacon Jalapeno Poppers
Cut open the jalapenos lengthwise, remove the seeds, and fill with cream cheese. You may want to use gloves just in case you end up touching your eyes (it will hurt)!
Wrap with bacon (no nitrate/nitrite, sugar free is the only bacon I use). Don’t buy poor quality bacon as these just won’t taste the same; trust me on this. One rasher should wrap at least two halves (I cut the bacon easily with kitchen shears).
Bake in a 400° oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked. That’s it! Super quick and simple!
Just a warning: you should make more than you think you will need as these will vanish before your very eyes Enjoy!
Love bacon? Here are more “bacon-centric” appetizers that are also super easy to make! You could actually have your kids make them, they’re such simple recipes!
And these Bacon and Cream Cheese Filled Mushrooms are very tasty!

[…] Pancetta is used, and can be used in so many recipes. An easy way to think about how to use pancetta is to think about how you might use bacon in a recipe (usually pieces of bacon, because you can’t wrap pancetta around an olive or jalapeño pepper)! […]
Add some crumbled and browned chorizo and some BBQ rub to the cream cheese.
