Peach Sauce with Maple Syrup (Topping for Pancakes, Ice Cream and More)

This peach sauce with butter and maple syrup is such a great way to incorporate summer peaches into your breakfast or desserts!  It’s so simple, and takes just a few minutes, so there’s no excuse not to make it!

Buttery Maple Peach Topping

When I first started this site, I had absolutely no clue what I was doing in the technical and publishing aspect of my site. Peach sauce: that was another story, I could whip up a fruit sauce with my eyes closed!

Not that I’m that well versed in the technical aspect now, but, I do know a bit more than I did then. For example, I had published this peach sauce recipe as a “buttery maple nectarine topping with an overnight waffle recipe”. Essentially, I just confused Google by adding two recipes in one post.

I’ve since retaken the photos, many of which made me squirm a little bit. I’m keeping the nectarine sauce with the overnight waffles and decided to make this a separate recipe for my peach sauce.

They’re both the exact same recipe because peaches and nectarines can be used interchangeably. However, now Google will actually be able to find both recipes!

Most importantly, this peach sauce with maple syrup is perfect for your waffles, pancakes, cakes, cheesecakes and when you serve ice cream for dessert! I especially like it with a splash of liqueur. How else would you use it?
