A super easy and delicious twist on a Caprese appetizer.

Equipment

  • 1 melon baller (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 medium tomatoes (firm, sliced)
  • 4 oz ricotta cheese (top quality)
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp basil (chopped)

Instructions

  • Arrange the tomato slices on a flat serving plate.
  • Top with a small scoop (I used a melon baller) of ricotta, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with the sea salt and chopped basil. Serve.

Notes

  • Use fresh, top quality ingredients for the best result.
