A slushy version of my original Lemon Drop Martini. Fabulous in summer!

Ingredients

  • ½ lemon (use juice for rubbing the glasses and slices for garnish)
  • ½ Tbsp sugar (for rimming the glass, as needed)

For the frozen cocktail:

  • 1 cup ice cubes (¾ cup if crushed)
  • 2 oz Ketel One Citroen Vodka (2 shots)
  • juice of ½ lemon (fresh Meyer lemons are best)
  • 2 tsp Baker’s extra-fine sugar

Instructions

  • Cut a lemon in half and rub the rim of the martini glass with it, then dip in sugar (you can use the lemon for more drinks later)!
  • Put all the remaining ingredients for the frozen lemon drop martini in a blender and blend until the ice is completely slushy.
  • Pour into the prepared glass and serve.

Notes

  • Try the original, unfrozen cocktail, too!
