Cut the peaches into nibble sized pieces, place in a bowl and add the chopped cherries. Pour enough white wine over into the bowl to cover the fruit.
Add the vodka, cover and refrigerate for one to two hours.
In a sangria jug, place the macerated fruit, the remaining white wine, and the lemon lime soda. Stir gently (the cherries will give the sangria/spritzer a lovely pink tint).
Pour into glasses and adorn the rim of each glass with a cherry (cut a slit in the bottom of each cherry and push onto the rim of the glass).
