The classic British bacon sandwich.
6 rashers bacon back or streaky, preferably without sugar, or nitrates 4 slices bread preferably, homemade soft white bread 1 tsp butter salted, like Lewis Road Creamery 1 tsp brown sauce (optional: my favorite is HP sauce)
Get Recipe Ingredients
Cook the bacon as desired. Air fry, grill or fry on a cooktop, but DO NOT MAKE THE BACON CRISPY if you want a British-style bacon sandwich.
Butter the bread with softened/room temperature butter.
Start putting the hot bacon on the bread, on one half only. Add as much bacon as you like, but at least two slices are needed.
OPTIONAL: At this point, add some brown sauce (my favorite is HP Sauce ), if desired. Place the other slice of bread on top of the bacon. Serve immediately.
